Javi Carles is a freelance sound-man specialised in sound edition and post-production born in Barcelona and based in London. He has just graduated from University of East London (UEL) where he studied Music Performance and Production. He is currently studing an MA in Filmmaking (Sound Recording, Post-Production & Sound Design) in Goldsmiths, University of London.
He also studied Sound Technician in Microfusa school (Barcelona), where he acquired the necessary knowledge to go in-depth into the world of audiovisual.

He has advance knowledge of music production workstations such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Logic Pro, in which he uses to work in the sound edition and post-production of film documentaries as well as in the sound production and design of radio shows at 'Radio Active 101'.
Moreover, he is a competent drummer, and as a freelance sound-man and music lover, he is currently playing the drums in new and exciting music projects; from an opera pop band to an experimenting and ambient project involving synthesisers and glitchy sounds. The enthusiasm and love for sound and music are continously present in both his personal and professional life.
